We all know the yearbook class clown. They're happy, love to laugh, and want to have fun. What causes goofiness? Probably astrology. Discover the goofiest zodiac sign, from subtle to comical.
Aries, the first zodiac sign, follows their own path. Their offbeat humour may not always make sense, but that's what makes them fun and unique. "Aries is goofy because they don't care about embarrassing themselves," says astrologer Ryan Marquardt. They don't care what others think. They love being the centre of attention and don't mind playing the fool. Fire signs will keep you entertained.
Libras are all about balance and positivity, so it's no surprise they can be silly. Luckily, this sign's humour isn't offensive, says astrologer Emily Newman. These air signs are always trying to make others happy and often act goofy.
Virgos appear serious and critical because they want the best for others. Goofiness usually comes out in sarcasm or dark humour. Mercury-ruled people communicate well and know when to be goofy. "Virgos are good at making jokes," Newman says.
Leos love to be in the spotlight and don't care what actions put them in that position. "If they put their minds to it and take it seriously, they can make amazing stand-up comedians," says Newman. This fire sign's goofy behavior comes out if they're feeling helpless; it's likely they'll have ridiculous outbursts or foolish tantrums to make sure they stay on top.
Geminis, as air signs, don't take life too seriously. These people love pranks and will use humour to lighten a situation. "[Geminis] can't focus on one thing at a time, so their scattered energy can be goofy," says Marquardt. These sociable signs love engaging in conversations, but you never know what they'll say.
Aquarius are quirky and love to defy conventions. These air signs aren't trying to entertain others, but it seems that way because they're naturally social. This makes them the silliest zodiac sign. "They're serious, witty, playful, and annoyingly intelligent," says Marquardt. "They're so goofy it's uncanny."
