Walmart is selling 600 of this exclusive product—"They won't restock"

If you're looking for hidden treasures or novelty finds, visit a Goodwill, Salvation Army, or boutique. Walmart stores sell groceries, affordable shoes, and clothes. The nation's largest retailer is limiting sales of a new product to 600. What did Walmart just release? You'll want to act fast.

Elton John is a legendary musician. Sir Elton was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1998, and his 1972 song Rocket Man was a huge hit. John's accomplishments are undeniable: 31 studio albums, 5 Grammys, 2 Oscars, 2 Golden Globes, to name a few.

But John is also known for his bold choices when it comes to his wardrobe. His iconic looks are famous in their own right, and if you shop at Walmart, you can now pick up an exclusive version of one the singer's signature pieces

The announcement was timed to honour John's last U.S. concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, which Reitnauer called "the end of an era." Walmart's "L.A. '22" glasses are inspired by John's large round frames from 1975.

"Eyewear is part of my style," John wrote. "My archive of optical and sun frames inspires many Elton John Eyewear designs, including L.A. '22. Celebrating this career milestone with Walmart customers through a versatile and universally flattering frame is so special to me."

Walmart has only produced 600 L.A. '22 sunglasses, which are selling online for $99. Once they're gone, they're gone forever, so if you want a pair, act fast. Once these frames sell out, they won't be restocked, Reitnauer wrote.

The glasses come with a "commemorative case" and "keepsake cleaning cloth," but they're not John's originals. White metal, rose gold lenses, and blue temple tips replace thick white plastic.

"This frame was inspired by a round plastic frame, which, while pristine, isn't on-trend now," a Walmart Health & Wellness buyer told Forbes. "We could have made a replica and said, "Here it is." We wanted Elton to be in 2022. Details and rounds are trendy."

There's also a star detail on the top of the frame, paying homage to the sparkly blue and white Dodger uniform John wore in 1975. "Those little embellishments are truly Elton," Thumbutu said.
